Line of Control Tour – 10 Nights / 11 Days
Leh / Kargil / Nubra / Pangong Lake / Nyoma / Hanle / Tsomoriri / Leh
Operational Month – From Mid-May to Mid-October

Day 01: Leh to Sham Valley (70 kms | 4-5 Hrs approx.)

Arrival at Leh airport and transferred to the Sham Valley pass through villages of Sham Valley along the Indus River. Complete day to acclimatize your body to the difference in altitude. O/N Sham.

Day 02: Sham Valley to Kargil via Batalik (167 Kms / 4-5 hrs approx)

After breakfast, drive to Kargil, enroute, visit Dha-Hanu. The people who inhabit this area are considered as last of Indo Aryan race, not only their attire is highly decorated with jewelry and flowers, their features are also quite distinct. We also visit Batalik, one of the most famous war front zones fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999.  Arrive in Kargil by evening, enjoy the evening at leisure.  O/N Kargil.

Day 03: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru (220 Kms | 6-7 Kms approx.)

After the Breakfast drive to Leh, enroute, visit Mulbek Chamba, Lamayuru monastery, Alchi monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Enjoy hot lunch at Lamayuru. Arrive at Leh by evening. O/N Leh

Day 04: Leh – Nubra Valley (128 Kms |4-5 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) post lunch, enjoy the camel ride at Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.

Day 05: Hunder – Tyakshi – Hunder (170 Kms |5-6 hrs approx.)

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (first time opened for the tourist since 2010) this village was captured by Indians Army in war of 1971 from Pakistan, enroute visit Tyakshi (it is the border that divides India and Pakistan) O/N Nubra Valley.

Day 06: Nubra Valley – Leh (128 Kms | 4-5 hrsap[prox.)

After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), this spot offers a magnificent panoramic view of Nubra Valley later drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. O/N Leh.

Day 07: Leh – Pangong Lake (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx.)

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, via Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd Highest Motorable road in the world, Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure to enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.

Day 08: Pangong Lake to Hanle (175 Kms | 6-7 hrs approx.)

In the morning after breakfast drive to Hanle, by crossing Chushul Village, Tsaga La (15,200 Ft) enjoy the drive upto Hanle, is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The location of the village and the observatory are highly sensitive due to the close proximity of the Tibetan / Chinese border, India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma ray telescope. Once complete the Major Atmospheric Cerenkov Experiment Telescope gamma ray telescope under construction they will be the world’s largest telescope at the highest altitude and the second largest gamma ray telescope in the world. As per history, it is believed that King Singge Namgyal died here at Hanle while on his return from an expedition Mongols. Enjoy the stay with locals at local guest house. O/N Hanle.

Day 09: Hanle – Tsomoriri via Mahe Bridge (130 Kms | 4 – 5 hrs approx.)

In the morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake via Ya Ya Tso (Lake) enroute cross Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft) later cross Mahe Bridge, on the way to the Lake.. Arrival at Korzok by late noon. Evening take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok.

Day 10: Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Taglangla – Leh (240 Kms | 7- 8 hrs approx.)

Morning after breakfast leave to Leh on the way pass Puga (Natural Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, 2nd Highest motorable road in the world. Arrival at Leh by evening. O/N Leh.

Day 11: Leh to Leh Airport (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx.)

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey Ends.
